AMAZING. Westminster's pedestrianization plan for Regent Street St. James's, Waterloo Place, and the surrounding area is massive.

This is awful - #NHS England is trying to gut #RightToChoose which could make waiting times for #ADHD diagnoses take 10+ years. This is being snuck through an internal consultation which the public can’t respond to, so email your MP to tell them to make noise about this!

The initial idea of “let’s do for tunnelling what SpaceX did for rocketry” honestly sounded great when it was proposed for mid-occupancy rapid transit. But the speed with which it became “let’s build smaller tunnels, slowly, for teslas” rather destroyed any initial credibility.

“Compared to self-driving cars, and just about any other mobility mode, e-bikes have flourished…If 2023’s trendline continues, the humble e-bike, not the flashy self-driving car, will be poised to reconfigure American transportation.” — @davidzipper.bsky.social

Why 2023 was the year of the e-bike and not the self-driving car
E-bikes and self-driving cars both entered the year with momentum. Only one maintained it.

Tory ministers refused to resign after far more serious stories emerged - Haigh seems to have been doing a genuinely good job and it shows weakness that Starmer didn’t back her to stay on.

People criticise British cooking, but I guarantee we’d have less meltdowns cooking Thanksgiving dinner because it’s basically a roast dinner with some weird sides and we are pretty much pros at that.
