Notable: The only difference between the CFP committee and the BCS formula simulation is that the old BCS would've had Notre Dame ahead of Alabama and Miami. The rest of the CFP field would've been the exact same.

Indiana went undefeated, Duke is ACC champion, and Tulane & JMU are in the tournament to win the title in football and instead of celebrating all that cool quirky stuff I’m supposed to be mad about how a committee ordered 3 teams that I’m pretty sure aren’t the best team in the country anyways?

JMU isn't potentially taking Alabama's (or someone else's spot), they're taking UVA/Duke's spot.

Two Group of 5 teams in the CFP isn't the fault of the Playoff. It's the fault of the ACC for playing 8 conference games with 17 teams and having complicated tiebreakers that kept Miami out.
You can fix that (already planning on 9 games) without overhauling the CFP again.
