Yes, it's almost dark by the time I get off work (and at 4:30, ridiculous), but I do hope to get snowed in at least once this year (with lots of good food and hot chocolate of course). We get snow so rarely that we don't have plows for the road, so it doesn't take much, haha

Autumn is generally my favorite time of the year, but the darker evenings might be getting to me and my vitamin D deficiency, that's a good point. The sunlight quality outside looks like it should be 5 or 6pm, but it's not even 3pm yet.

Sometimes I wonder if this feeds into the gender things. Sometimes family will comment on my lack of nurturing skills but it's not like I was taught to. I was taught to guard, maybe, to be careful, approach with delicacy, but that's not the same as being nurturing, and it's not always gentle either
