We're all guilty of posting uselessly on microblogging sites about important topics--it's encouraged, and we all give in, we all want to be heard--but it's another matter to go on a binge of attacking people for not posting the same things you do at the same time.

i saw a post by a teacher that i haven't been able to get out of my head for months. she said that kids are terrified of being "wrong" in a way she's never seen before. they won't even answer "what is your favorite food" or whatever without prompting because they think there is a wrong answer
