OPM is planning to fire all employees on probation (less than one year of employment). Agencies have until noon on Wednesday to submit a list of probationary employees to the OPM and indicate whether they wish to retain them—though it has been stated that this will not make a difference.

Welp, I am officially a prepper. Just ordered 2 gallons of powdered milk, 3 of powdered eggs, 25lbs of chicken thighs, 10lbs of burger, boxes of canned goods and two large boxes of N95s. Hope bird flu doesn't spread to people, but the cost of eggs and poultry is going to skyrocket.

I hope one day we get back to this level of humanity and compassion.
President Jimmy Carter has passed away at 100. He taught us about compassion, empathy & kindness from watching him here when he was hurt & persevered to do what he loved best at Habitat For Humanity! He inspired us to be better humans. What an incredible person & gift he was. May he rest in peace.🙏💜
