I've always been a believer in returning your shopping cart as a minimal duty we owe each other in polite society. But if your carts have those anti-theft things that lock the wheels randomly while we are still in the parking lot I will drag the fucker to my car and leave it there

~98% of lichens are Ascomycetes, producing small cups as the spore producing structure, but there are a number of lichenized Basidiomycetes like these gorgeous Lichenomphalia!
Lichenomphalia umbellifera, I never get tired of finding this exquisite lichen.
