Nah. I leave the room for 20 secs after giving them a strongly worded warning with instructions to hide themselves as there is a bipedal predator that will see to their demise if they are spotted again. Works everytime.

His behavior is repugnant. I tell him I’m working he tells me to change my schedule. I tell him not to call he calls and FT’s even though I don’t answer. He says I won’t need to work so much because he takes care of what’s his. But I don’t belong to anyone and I enjoy my career.

Unfortunately for him I’m an equal mix of being Plutonian and Mercurial. Although I could use him to network and social climb I have no interest in being his pretty accessory. Social access without respect is not something that motivates me. It’s not real power. It’s borrowed attention I don’t need.

A few weeks ago I went out to eat by myself and met this producer of a tv show that’s kind of a big deal. He’s been quite persistent texting me and just invited me to be his plus one to this birthday event and upon looking at the invitation there’s some pretty high profile people.
