Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now

Before Heller, I used to argue w/my liberal friends abt the 2d amendment.
Them (good liberals): it’s a collective right for a state militia.
Me: it’s an individual right, in part to fight against a tyrannical fed gov’t.
I was right, and NOW is the time.

The folks saying don't fight back have the privilege of saying that bc their community isn't being invaded or they're not being directly impacted.

It astonishes me that at this point in history, people think evil can be contained. If it’s happening to one group of people, it’s going to seep over to the next group. If you turn your head when folks are being victimized, you are the next victim.
