Hey, America: Now is the time. Build, organize, strike, RESIST. No one is coming to save us. We must not passively allow our government to terrorize the world in our name. WE must save us. We must tear down the machine that destroys the world.

Harvard just handed all school and disciplinary records of international students to DHS. Absolutely contemptible. They're putting their own students in danger and lying by telling them that everything is ok. These students could be black bagged to Louisiana or El Salvador after this.

If you say anything along the lines of autism being "trendy" nowadays, you are not an autistic ally.

If you question, scrutinize, or express doubt about anyone's autism diagnosis, you are not an autistic ally.

It's hard to grieve for the whole world and your whole life and hold it inside of you every day while you try to carry on as if things are normal because you have no other choice. Now is not the time to beat yourself up. I'm sure you're doing the best you can ❤️

They have, however, failed to convince anybody ELSE of this, due to atrophied brains

Hello, men. Women don't care how much money you make or how tall you are if they don't like your personality. Hope this helps.

my outsider perspective on US politics is that it seems like i spend 4 years getting told the democrats can't do the thing because they need just one more vote, and then the republicans get in and can do whatever they want because half of the democrats vote with them

Adam Schiff is in such a safe Dem seat that he donated millions to a Republican campaign to artificially boost his “opponent.” The top two vote getters in CA move on to the general election regardless of party and Schiff knew it made sense to boost the Republican and squeeze out the Dems.
At some point we’re gonna have to talk about the fact that the people who keep joining with Republicans to vote for their nominees are mostly people from incredibly solid blue seats.

They’re voting for these people because they want to, not because they have to.
The 17 Dems who voted yes for Trump's labor secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer:

Hickenlooper (CO)
Kaine (VA)
Kelly (AZ)
Klobuchar (MN)
Ossoff (GA)
Peters (MI)
Rosen (NV)
Schiff (CA)
Shaheen (DH)
Slotkin (MI)
Warner (VA)
Warnock (GA)
Whitehouse (RI)

17 Dems voted for her and it's unclear who didn't vote but that math means Dems had a chance to kill this or at the very least take up time by making Vance break a tie and instead chose to wave her through.
The Senate just voted 67-32 to confirm Lori Chavez-DeRemer as labor secretary, which means a lot of Dems voted for her. During a fucking constitutional crisis.

The way it works is that you strip fundamental rights from targets with less political support that people will turn their consciences off to justify persecuting and then eventually the state can do it to anyone, that’s always been the plan bsky.app/profile/pbum...
Setting aside the incredibly dangerous and fascist aspect of this, is there actual evidence that Khalil was a “Hamas supporter”? Or is the standard for a green-card holder being sent to a secret location and possibly deported just “critical of Israel”?

Yes. If DHS can barge in, say your visa was revoked, be told you have a green card, say it's revoked too, and then disappear you so that neither your lawyer nor your family can find you, then all the guardrails are gone. There is no policy, practice, or law protecting anyone.

Love how "oligarchy" is suddenly becoming a hot buzzword because then we don't have to talk about how "capitalism" is the problem. As if oligarchy isn't the natural result of capitalism.
