An issue I don’t believe has been addressed regarding the deep cuts to SNAP, is how many grocery stores in low income areas will go out of business. Mom and pop, family owned markets. For many, almost all of their customers are on food assistance. The Krogers will just close their doors and move on.

embarrassing for him what a poor campaign cuomo has run. no matter which way it shakes out there will be a lot of over-reading from a weird off-cycle primary in an exceptional city but you have to be pretty stupid to think you can count on name id in an election with ~20% turnout

A lot of the frenzied response from groups like the ADL to college protests results from the fact that many fewer people view Israel positively today than even a decade ago, and that is at least in part the result of Israel's actions, and there is no policy response in the US that can change that.
