I was at MISTI-Con, I played quidditch and water polo, I am an archivist, and I was at the U of S. That should about cover the people who need to know where they know me.
Oh no, your version cut out @thebeaverton.com credit. Here's the original instead: bsky.app/profile/theb...

So sad. Gotta fight harder *and smarter*, including by re-framing the 'bike lane' question. So far, the best term I have come across is 'bike & roll lane'. ecoplanning.ca/videos-elect...

I'm only sad that he can't make the country safe to visit. I wanted to see New York City properly someday (more than the 23 hour whirlwind I did once). Alas, I needed to do it before January.

Can you set your coverage to some silly music? Maybe the sad clown song? They seem like sad clowns to me.

I feel like they hate to be embarrassed. But surely they have houses, grocery shopping to do, kids soccer games to attend. They should be surrounded by clowns every time they leave their homes, so we can all point and laugh at the cowards.

How were these able to be created? Aren't these departments and therefore their social media staffers all furloughed / shutdown / whatever this thing you all are doing down there is?

Agreed.

Unless they use the full phrase "political prisoners" which acknowledges the truth of their imprisonment and subverts the Israeli court system.

Fair enough to be a person who can gain the energy from the crowd. It's a great way to reinforce yourself for those low energy days that you're not the only person calling in and caring!

I think there can be many ways to participate, including wearing a pin or posting online if you can't attend things in person. I know some people won't attend (e.g. documentation concerns, disabilities, and young children they're not comfy with in crowds) but there's always work to do elsewhere.

Thank you for that phrasing. I don't mind if my media is mainstream (does that just mean it's easy to access?) but I do mind that it's a corporate mouthpiece.

I once thought about it, at a model UN event. I said there's no point to us having a military because if anyone attacks us, the US would step in to defend their influence, or they would be the ones attacking us and no one can outgun them.

I now know more about insurrection. Still weird but okay.

As a person who absolutely has been asked for directions by strangers in 6 different countries, I was intrigued to see what this reality said about me (I assume it's that I smile too much and have a poorly developed sense of danger).

Maybe I'll find a print version to read so I can know.

Yes, and the separatists seem to think that foreign countries that are landlocked have a right to ship anything they want through any other country by any means they choose on any route they choose at a price they set. It's so bizarre!

Serious money: I would spend the $25 in the small shops downtown. Buy a fancy local thank you card and a nice scone and hot chocolate or London Fog.

Fun money: I would take the 3 twoonies, 1 loonie, and 53 cents in pennies taped onto cardboard for Korean street food in rural Alberta. I would fail.
