Apparently one of my favourite flowers will come back as a volunteer. I had no idea, and without the climate and zone change creating a longer growing season here, I may have never have discovered this.

It doesn't belong with the potatoes but it makes me happy. Way to go, flower!

In a world filled with so much ugliness, it's important to see the beauty, too. Plus, the pollinators seem to love these flowers.

Red Deer has a reputation. And some of it is absolutely deserved.

But also, I went to the Highland Games, an African Carribean event, a Norwegian festival, and a 2 Spirit Powwow in the last month, and that's not nothing.

I get to do a big pile of laundry tonight. For me, that means that I had an excellent, busy trip and now I get to relive the memories through the laundry. Yay for #CowboyDressage !

My proper crocus came back this year! I hope it continues to grow for the future.

Weekend highlight -- getting up super early to go to a live #CBC radio show at the Red Deer Public Library. I even got to read the weather!

Surprisingly decent crowd for 6am.

They came for the trans kids, and now they're coming for disability advocates. There are virtually no financial savings with these choices because cruelty and silencing is the point.
