It is not an exaggeration to say there are specialists refusing to treat huge swathes of the population. As someone living with a multi systemic condition I have been referred to enough specialists to know some outright refuse to treat ppl with complex conditions beyond an initial consult
At some point, as *politically hard* as it is said to be, we are going to have to confront the role of the Colleges in restricting the supply of labour - while harvesting a vast public subsidy, charging whatever they like, hiding prices, & in effect refusing to treat huge swathes of the population.
