There's also the fact that there's a ton of research - a ton - that shows if you want to cut crime you invest in public resources like education, healthcare, housing and social welfare.
It's kind of insane how resource redistribution in NYC is not okay for things like education, healthcare, libraries, parks, housing, social welfare and other public services, but fine for police overtime

A counselor of mine told me, after I said I knew I was being obsessive + needed to chill in order to get more done personally, to not talk about Palestine at all because it didn't matter.
I'm a little unregulated right now. Had to hang up on him. He emailed me a tense response I'm not happy with.

This is heart wrenching. I'm so tired of hearing these key figures are being targeted directly. Is it not enough for thousands of Palestinians to be carpet bombed, will this wake people up finally? Sadly probably not.

There’s a general strike set for tomorrow in the West Bank and they’re requesting international participation.
I’m usually pretty hostile to internet general strike posting but if you can afford the day off to go to a rally or call your congresspeople then I think that be a fine thing to do.
