I think the use of the term problematic waters down how people engage with media and instead you should actually be naming the specific issues you have with things.
Also avoiding any art that houses any 'problematic' themes probably isn't helping feed your brain.

I'm He/It. I usually just like feeling like a dude, but I also sometimes feel like a creature and it/it's pronouns sort of scratch my brain just right because of that.
I started going by he in 2019/2020? I think? I used he/they for a while as well.
