There is also an entire “literature“ that argues the holocaust didn’t happen, and that slavery was a beneficial benevolent system. But no sane moral person treats it as having intellectual merit. We call racists and Nazis racists and Nazis.

i’ve mentioned this before but one of the facebook docs frances haugen leaked was a bunch of engineers debating whether a “meaningful social interaction” (a big metric for shareholders) should actually require two human beings. it was a ridiculous conversation among some truly ridiculous people.
Meta's great new idea, now that Facebook and Instagram are infected with AI slop, is to also let AI-generated characters made by users appear as actual accounts on the platforms. The last stage of "social" media is millions of bots giving each other thumbs-up reacts.

no doubt in mind that the mass deportations are happening. the only question is how far they are going to go. and here’s the thing, i think a LOT of people — and especially the savvy journalists — will be shocked when he goes through with it, and when the round ups and deaths start.
