Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like a big generational divide is whether or not you're comfortable talking about a woman's period. My dad never wanted to hear anything about it, but me and my friends were chill with the idea.

Columbo-speak is so nuanced. If he is looking at his notepad and says “You’ve been a big help.” it means the info you gave is good. If he is looking right at you and says “I knew you were going to be a big help to me.” then you are spending the rest of your life in prison.
