i was a bit apprehensive on getting the steam deck since i'm prone to impulsive tech purchases i end up never touching (ahem GPi CASE)
but it ended up being one of the best purchases i've ever made. playing on my bed while chilling, with bluetooth headphones, listening to youtube, it's a blessing

Honestly, handheld PC gaming is great, I wasn't expecting how much use I'd get out of 'em. I highly recommend the Steam Deck as is, brilliant piece of kit.

this is true and i wholeheartedly agree, though it is also true so many people just don't have the patience for non-voiced games anymore
i think AI overtaking the field is very much related to players giving up on non-voiced games, and that makes me really sad

If games companies don't want to pay voice actors what they could do is just not have spoken dialogue. Games did that for decades. It's fine. Just DON'T USE THE PLAGIARISM SLOP MACHINE OH MY GOD IT IS NOT HARD TO NOT USE IT YOU JUST DON'T USE IT THAT IS ALL. GAMES DO NOT ALL NEED VOICES.

turns out spending 20h building a decky plugin to smart charge my steamdeck although FUN
literally doesn't work as suspending kills ALL backgrounds processes and thus my plugin

ok i no longer think the ff tactics remake did software (or AI) upscaling on the sprites, but i can't shake the feeling they look kinda muddy / strange

yeah the blockchain is immutable, but having an entire ass png on it is borderline unfeasible
so in the end most of the nft blockchain entries were immutable... links to images hosted in google drive, imgur and aws s3 buckets lmao
