Here’s the thing about me, I’m a “yes, and…” progressive.
Meaning I believe in student debt cancelation, tuition-free college *AND* support UBI.
We have to reject the scarcity mindset.

It's not an argument against helping those with student debt, but there is an argument that UBI would be even more progressive to do instead.
Student debt cancellation is less progressive than universal payments
Dollar for dollar, universal payments do more for poverty and income inequality.

Nothing radical about not wanting to get shot in school. Nothing radical about wanting control over your own body. Nothing radical about wanting enough clean air and clean water to live a healthy life. Nothing radical about wanting the wealthy to pay their fair share.
