So Penn got hacked and this is the hackers’ statement. Ideologically all over the place, which seems to be a trend among this generation’s antisocial discontents

What does it mean that I finally took a Benadryl out of sheer desperation and within 30 minutes, the migraine I’ve been suffering from since last Tuesday abated? #LC #MCAS

Would anyone be interested in doing a book club around CC/LC/ME related grief? I can read aloud for us and we can chime in and discuss our thoughts as they come up 😷📖😷
Curious if any #pwLC or #CovidConscious folks have read “The Wild Edge of Sorrow” by Francis Weller. I’m feeling like it’s time for me to do some grief work around LC and being CC in a world that’s moved on. Would love to hear from anyone else [interested in] doing the same

We had an in-service about grief today at my internship site. The speaker opened her presentation by saying that grief is at the heart of what we do as therapists, which seems so obvious yet felt like a revelation to me. We’re all grieving something, and grief is always with us.

Long Covid recovery update: I can now deadlift and squat 135lb x 15 again 🥲 It took 4 months of cardio and strength training but it’s a big milestone for me. Plz note I got sick in 2021, so this is years in the making. Took 2.25 years of rest to get here

There is no fighting for change within the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party is the graveyard of progressive movements.

If you stopped masking, you can start again anytime. Please, just start again. Your health depends on it and you could start a wave of change within your sphere of influence that could ripple outwards into broader society.

TIL you can add 0.25-0.5 tsp of baking soda to coffee or black tea to neutralize the acid, which improves the flavor and makes it less irritating to the GI tract 😮

The more times you get infected the worse your long-COVID symptoms will be, even though your acute symptoms are milder. The two line plots below tell the whole story (panel a and f).

Hey CC & LC folks, Prof Al Haddrell 👇 is a top researcher when it comes to airborne transmission of pathogens.

Here's his 2nd video in this series:
"How Does Relative Humidity Affect SARS-CoV-2 Transmission?"

His posts, below, have links to both videos.
Why doesn’t humidity affect the spread of COVID-19?

In this explainer video (part 2 of 2) I walk through how humidity affects the various factors involved in airborne transmission. youtu.be/_6MfWES3aAw
