boo is at the vet for some weird Thing (small lump) on his chest. it might be something boring and benign but i couldn't stop worrying because if its something cancerous, we would catch it very very early so we can get it removed. augh.

i had a dream i was back in an odd college situation but at one point i needed to go to a family member's house to confront them about something serious, but first, i had to make the ghost guarding their house feel self-conscious (?) so i told it sounded weird when it swallowed and that worked

i feel like there's games that might be able to use this in a way that reinforces some kind of theme, but honestly if you really really really want a player to pay attention and do a specific thing before moving on, just make it a requirement to advance forward?
If you're making a game for the players who absolutely need extremely high-frequency nagging barks from an NPC, you're kind of making a game for no one *but* those players
