It will never be enough because Mamdani’s crime is his religion and skin colour, not his actual politics. Ever since he won there have been Republican and even some Democrat politicians saying all sorts of monstrous things about Muslims and others and they will never get this sort of scrutiny.
rather than condemn the phrase, he maintained that it’s not language he would use, and that he is committed to ensuring the safety of Jews AND Israelis in New York with actual government investment
