Funny how "sources" always talk in dreadful tabloidese
That Radar piece about Bond is obviously made up. The claim that they can't work out how to resurrect him after he's been blown up comes from that old favourite, "a source close to the production". I don't think a team of experienced screenwriters is unfamiliar with the concept of a reboot.

Saw a Triumph Dolomite* at the town dump, but don't worry they were just dropping something off.

*I think it was a Dolomite but the small Triumph saloons are hard to tell apart at a fleeting glance.

Superb Victorian Theodolyte sounds like the title of an obscure record from 1969 that now sells for £700 on Discogs.
On day two of the trip, wife Liz takes the wheel of the Applause, quickly agreeing with Autocar & Motor's verdict on the car's 'delightful' gearchange. Later the couple go shopping, buying a 'superb Victorian theodolyte', which luckily fits into the Daihatsu's roomy boot.

Fun fact I recently learnt from @webuyrecords.bsky.social - The 1988 Fleetwood Mac Greatest Hits (which Hold Me was re-released to promote) was the last album released on 8-track cartridge.

Until a few were released as novelties in recent years anyway. #forgotten80s

I keep meaning to request Hold Me* and I think I even did once but I'm glad I get to hear it anyway. #forgotten80s

*by Fleetwood Mac, I have no intention of requesting the BA Robertson track.

Also covered lower down the charts:

- Depeche Mode "Stripped" - does it owe anything to Orwell's "1984" or is that fanfic nonsense?
- Swans
- Television Personalities "How I Learned To Love The Bomb"
- Ex-Toto Coelo singer Anita Chellemah in 80s glam rockers Cherry Bombz
- Revolting Cocks
Blog update: In February 1986, Andrew Eldritch reached the indie number one spot with a record put out to prohibit Wayne Hussey from using a Sisters of Mercy related band name. Effectively a legal block on 45, it's as dull as reading dense legislation, but the drama behind it; that's another story.
74. The Sisterhood - Giving Ground (Merciful Release)
All the singles to top the NME Indie Charts since its launch in 1981, complete with an overview of the other music in the charts each week.

It doesn't really seem necessary, as the performance isn't particularly obscene, apart from how bad it is obviously.
Maybe they wanted to promote the late-night repeat. #TotP
