Mildly amused that the image for Time by Marion on the Official Charts website is just the cover of Shine 4.

Today is #WorldWetlandsDay - wetlands provide vital habitats for bat species in the UK with many being particularly reliant on clean waterbodies for their survival. Healthy wetlands are essential for people, #bats🦇 and other #wildlife.

#NowPlaying an record I was mildly (but pleasantly) surprised to hear coming out of the pub I walked past the other day.

I haven't seen the True Stories film but I'm not sure I'd understand it anyway. #forgotten80s

That's All was supposedly Genesis trying to write a Beatles song, and Phil Collins is trying to drum like Ringo. #forgotten80s

I think my Mum might have had to tell me not to run after motor cars a few times... she did have McCartney II but I'm sure she'd have figured it out anyway. #forgotten80s

Waterfalls, probably the most normal track on McCartney II. Also the only one written in advance. #forgotten80s

"I'd drive my car, but I haven't got a car to drive" is a hard lyric to get away with but they manage it. #forgotten80s

One of the Eurythmics songs that always sound better in my mind than when I actually hear them. I blame the production. #forgotten80s

Cliff on #forgotten80s is it?
Here's Cliff welcoming us into February with a baffling caption and another below-par photo off his camera reel. (We used to get dolphins leaping in the background, ffs.)

I've never fully recovered from finding out the lyrics to Bette Davis Eyes aren't actually "She knows just what it takes to make a crow blush" #forgotten80s

I once read a sample copy of a hi-fi magazine that recommended buying special fuses, and suggested you could try turning the existing fuses around in the plugs to show how important they were.
It didn't say which records you should play for this test, but I have an idea.

Actually it might be more significant (to the extent any of this is significant) that Stereophonics went in at 4 the same week Kula Shaker went in at 14. They were both launch singles for the second albums and both following up Number 3 hits, but they were clearly heading in opposite directions.
As we can see, the Blur single did a bit better but with hindsight I suppose a portion of their audience did drift over to the Phonics. Maybe not the portion Blur were saddest to see go. #TotP

The problem with social media is everyone is using it for different reasons. So you've got the people who use it
* for political debates
* to connect with friends
* to follow interesting people
* to follow famous people
all talking across each other, while assuming everyone's motive is the same.
