First half of Stranger Things Season 5 was a decent amount of fun.
Hard to say much else about it without spoilers, but it really does feel like they're trying to put a respectable (if, as always, slightly nostagia-cheesey) cap on things, and I do think this half-season stops at a sensible point.

Going to have a quiet Thanksgiving and, since I'm not a big cooker and don't need a whole-ass turkey for me and a parent, have tried buying Costco's Thanksgiving dinner thing.

Every excerpt I see from the Nuzzi book reads like she vaguely remembers the whimsical romanticization in the Weetzie Bat books and is desperately trying to channel that vibe into her very boring story about the consequences of scrapping professional ethics because of her terrible taste in men.

Schumer has to go at this point because he is bad at being a *leader of Democrats*. Two CRs in a row, the Senate caved when the base was nothing but primed to resist. He has failed to lead the Senate to a resolution the base likes, and he failed to prepare the base to accept the resolution he likes.

I'm a sucker for most of the thematic stuff it seems to be going for, it's well written/acted/directed/etc, and I'm really looking forward to more.
Hopefully being a miserable romantasy author gets Rhea Seehorn the Emmy Kim Wexler couldn't.
