Hi @steverichards.bsky.social, I enjoyed the podcast on tariffs. The only thing I thought missing was impeachment. I know Republicans have been craven in failing to stand up to Trump, but if the economic damage is as bad as we all think, surely they can't go into the midterms with him as president?

Hope the Trump era makes more people realise that whether people respect institutions and the rule of law is so much more important than standard ideological differences between left and right.

Is it just me who thinks newspapers shouldn't actually endorse candidates? The problem here is that this election wasn't the one to try to make a point and Bezos isn't doing it for the right reasons anyway
