back to working on the long form film study & it's interesting seeing a player develop their skills over time but maintaining the same approach to the game, just with new tools.

Happpening in women’s sports too. Anywhere we see sports betting, we’re going to see threats and harassment follow.
The Athletic polled hundreds of players from across the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL about their opinions surrounding how sports betting impacts players — the responses were haunting.

part of the issue with mcrae is that she isn't special. everything they've been doing for her has been done before but better. she could do better if she actually took some sort of creative risk, but why would she take a risk? she's not making art, she's making money.
I know Tate McRae has all the stats to make her a Main Pop Girl at this point but I just simply cannot see her as one. Something about her just makes me mentally file her next to Madison Beer or someone like that, someone who people tell you is famous but isn't

if ja is gettable, he & giannis 👀👀👀👀
Just caught up on the Bucks game last night.

—Marques’s Three Mile Island line for MT blindsided me

—Teams rely on the Bucks blowing perimeter switches for paint touches.

—Bucks can’t get enough non-GA paint touches.

—nothing that’s wrong isn’t fixable. Lotta possibilities yet for this team.

idk if that's the most...conducive thing to a winning environment?
Trey Murphy says that in addition to James Borrego speaking initially with the players before today’s practice, talking about expectations and such, Joe Dumars also addressed the group, essentially saying the first 12 games were unacceptable.

just remember that he has the same physicals as giannis, he just lacks that generational mobility giannis has

willie green is not a bad coach & I wish him the best wherever he lands. his time in nola has come to an end, but he's definitely going to head coach again soon. he's done an exceptional job with development & I hope this season doesn't make people forget the positive impact he's had
I still think Willie Green’s most underrated trait was developing young draft picks into NBA Players:
Trey Murphy
Herb Jones
Jose Alvarado
Dyson Daniels
EJ Liddell
Karlo Matkovik
Jordan Hawkins
Yves Missi
Jeremiah Fears
Derik Queen
Micah Peavy

He turned everyone but EJ into NBA contributors.

the players feel the same way we do about the coverage lmao
Steph on the Prime crew: "Y'all got a good thing going too. I love the energy"

lmaoooooo the amazon show is a blast, got UD hitting half court shots & six seven memes lol

what's the name of the action duncan does? the screen into the shot
Pistons first set is for Duncan Robinson, good design. Looks like he's going to get a pindown and screen for Jenkins. Notice Reed is by himself on the right side, Maxey is ready to switch. Ball goes to Reed flashing, Robinson cuts to get it. Two on the ball, roll for 2

even the post-game interview slaps with amazon. it's stupefying how drastically better their production is, lmao. love hearing steph talk about his reads & the system he plays in
November 15, 2025 at 5:31 AM
talking about formations & screening & plays on a post-game show? thank heavens we have real nba coverage now
November 15, 2025 at 5:23 AM
special shooter. he just needs to embrace running more routes & he'll continue ascending
Trey Murphy, since Halloween, is averaging 23.4 PPGs, on 50/40.3/93.3 splits.

last play should've been some action with castle, fox, & wemby with options for all three

37-year-old Steph Curry is the third-oldest player to record back-to-back 40-point games in NBA history, after Michael Jordan & LeBron James.

He's the oldest to have back-to-back 45-point games since Jordan in 2001.

love the "wembanyama! wembanyama!" from the announcer
November 15, 2025 at 5:08 AM
love the energy between these guys
HOOOOOOOOOOOLY 💩 VICTOR...
They called a foul on the floor but Wemby slamming on Draymond on the inbounds is cinema and Wemby let Dray know after the slam

looney is a *really good* big, he has multiple rings for a reason. but he's really the sort of big who is a star in his role. when the pels lack a clear system with clear roles, he can't focus on execution the way he could elsewhere.
They aren’t running split actions with Looney.

They aren’t running guard/guard PnRs.

Looney barely moves after setting screens and he can’t move laterally on the defensive end.

He’s an issue but the HC puts him in the worst possible situations.

when the pels play with tenacity they can compete with anyone. shame they lack tenacity at times
November 15, 2025 at 3:13 AM
jb/willie need to run more delay sets through queen
November 15, 2025 at 3:07 AM
the pels are playing with more pace & that allows them to play in a context that flattens out their weaknesses more. that said, luka is one of those guys who can just *decide* a game's result so...
November 15, 2025 at 3:02 AM
shame about the call, but if you weren't down by 20, it might matter a bit more lol
November 15, 2025 at 2:46 AM
trey's use of the floater is a really good counter to being chased off the line, but I love it when he gets layups
