But we have an entire intellectual class that has somehow convinced the public — and itself — that describing basic political realities is a form of bias.
"Don't unfairly judge the right" has become "don't judge the right" — even when the facts indicate that they deserve blame.

Leaving aside the egregious comparison to Larry Kramer, RFK's ideas about COVID were treated as false because they were false!
He has spent his entire adult life promoting ideas that are wrong and have literally gotten children killed. How *should* we treat a figure like this?
