IMO "can you separate the art from the artist" is a question I'm no longer interested in, if I ever was. Our relationship with a work changes all the time, we gain new experiences & info all the time, no matter what, it's not static. Those new bits of information can bring about altered rel to work

I spoke with Annie Farmer, one of the Epstein survivors who has advocated for transparency. She was distressed by the failed redactions:

Quite the contrast:

In one part of the Epstein files, DOJ published unredacted nude images of women and potentially minors.

In another part, officials redacted President Trump’s face from a news image that was shared in a text exchange.
