This latest shameful Putin-Trump collusion is rotten, a betrayal, and a danger to the United States, Europe, world peace, and, of course, Ukraine. 🇺🇦 Republicans in Congress must push back now.
We have a US administration trying to bully Ukrainians into accepting Russia’s proposal that their sovereignty be undone. Aside from the naked injustice of this, there are five basic practical reasons why it would make the world far more dangerous.

We have never had a more criminal president. And his crimes continue, alongside those of the criminals he grifts off of, condones, and incites.
We're now up to over 40 persons pardoned by Trump facing charges for new crimes. The recidivism rate is exceptionally high. Showing that the people sentenced were in fact hardened criminals... but wealthy enough to buy their pardons. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
Ponzi Schemer Who Got Trump Clemency Faces 50 Years in New Fraud

you could fact check this — there aren’t 30 million illegal immigrants and there is no evidence that the presence of an immigrant in say houston has any impact on housing in madison, wisconsin — or you could note straightforwardly that this is just nazi rhetoric
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Hard to overstate what a blow this will be to Trump. He will look a global idiot and madman who not only did extraordinary harm to our economy, to the American people, to our alliances but it was all f-cking illegal and unconstitutional to boot.

The factional grifters will hate this, but the Mamdani-Spanberger-Sherrill axis actually suggests the outlines of a broad, emerging Dem coalition organized around both anti-Trump *and* affordability politics, not a party bitterly divided against itself.
These big wins will embolden Dems to take on Trump's lawbreaking and show there's a price for GOP enabling of him. Folks hate to hear this, but normal patterns are asserting themselves: Liberalism isn't dead, Rs are likely to lose in 2026, and Trump is really unpopular, not a magical exception.

Imagine having the honor of being elected president (not to mention getting elected as a convicted felon) — and then being such a corrupt, ethics-shattering pig, betraying the rule of law & ripping off the taxpayers. Imagine being in Congress & enabling all this.
Now imagine voting them all out. 🇺🇸
This is among the most corrupt things a president has ever suggested, and I hope the press treats it that way. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/21/u...

This is what tyranny looks like. President Trump is using the Justice Department as his personal attack dog, targeting Attorney General Tish James for the ‘crime’ of prosecuting him for fraud—and winning.

Yet again, Trump is grossly abusing the criminal justice system by directing an unqualified political lackey to indict his adversary.

Let’s be clear: this kind of corruption is how authoritarians become dictators.

And this is also on every Republican who doesn’t speak up.

Days after prosecuting James Comey, Trump’s Justice Department just indicted New York Attorney General Letitia James.

None of this is normal.

If prosecutors can’t even do their jobs without facing prosecution themselves, none of us are safe from Trump’s overreach.

Hmm. We were still fighting in Afghanistan during Trump’s first term. How come we didn’t win “easy” then? Why did Trump sign a one-sided agreement with the Taliban that allowed them to take over?
Trump: "The problem with Vietnam, we, you know, we stopped fighting to win. We would've won easy. We would've won Afghanistan easy. We would've won every war easy. But we got politically correct. 'Oh, let's take it easy.' We're not politically correct anymore, just so you understand."
