25 years ago today, emerging from the Supreme Court after arguments in Boy Scouts of America vs. James Dale.

Two months later we lost the case 5-4, but won the cause. Change takes time, strategy, work, determination, and hope. 🇺🇸

Like so many others around the world, I was appalled by the murder of #MuhsinHendricks, the "world's first openly gay imam," gunned down in South Africa on February 15. I visited Muhsin last year and attended the programs he ran supporting #LGBT #Muslims and promoting inclusion.

If #Putin had dropped a bomb on Washington, DC, he couldn't have done more damage than the sabotage and pillage #Trump and co-president #Musk are now inflicting on the American people, our government workers, and our allies abroad. And the Republicans in Congress are enabling every bit of it.
