It ought to be studied how racism alone allowed JD Vance to convince American Republicans, ostensibly the most pro-hunting group of people in the northern hemisphere, that it was some grievous cultural insult for a black man to kill a goose. (And obviously contextually erroneous as well)

An under-discussed source of U.S. reactionism is the cross-generational idea of eastern Asians (specifically Chinese) as racially inferior, and to see them blossom while WASP culture cannot shed its 18th century anti-intellectualism is too much of a contradiction to comprehend.
