Admittedly I like literary history more than 97.6% of the populace, but I LOVE this novel & its hints of Henry James's Aspern Papers, Coleridge's Kubla Khan, Byatt's Possession, Atwood's Handmaid's Tale, Fowles's French Lieutenant's Woman & McEwan's own Atonement. God I sound insufferable.

I mean this in the least creepy way possible but one of the things I love about the Olympics is just seeing all these young gorgeous athletes with perfect builds and just at peak performance and it just reminds you what it felt to be thirty years younger.

Closing today: Five hours left on the auction for the 20th anniversary-signed copy of the first printing of the first OLD REPUBLIC Omnibus. All 1,334 pages of the KOTOR comics series, signed by the creators. (There are later editions on the store, but this one has been in safekeeping for years!)
