Just finished @mikeduncan.bsky.social’s incredible Storm Before the Storm - basically an in-depth but accessible look at the conditions that led to the fall of the Roman Republic. Highly recommend it, given the obvious parallels to our time.

Glad to see this thing finally kick off. Hopefully the extra housing density on Martin Street and the coming destinations around it makes the link the the rest of the MARTA system worth it.
