The death penalty is immoral. Executing someone with an intellectual disability is immoral with added heartlessness and cruelty. TN plans to do just that on Aug. 5th with the scheduled killing of #ByronBlack. We must stand against this and call on Gov. Bill Lee to stop it.

Without a last-minute reprieve, we Tennesseans will kill Oscar Smith tomorrow morning, around 10:00. There is a vigil outside Riverbend starting at 9:00. I hope that every Tennessean will come to the vigil to bear witness to the outrage of killing a helpless person.
