Great job Senator Cassidy. Rfk and his maha freaks are giving you the finger
RFK Jr had committed to Bill Cassidy, as a condition to win his vote, that he would keep website language.

Cassidy in February: “If confirmed… CDC will not remove statements on their website pointing out that vaccines do not cause autism.”

Note the language in second photo.

In the near-decade I staffed Joe Biden (pre-VP) he never had a SWAT team protecting him. Except in Afghanistan or other war-zones, he never had ANY security detail.

He was only the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Not someone as important as, say...
...Kash Patel's girlfriend:
Kash Patel's country music performer girlfriend currently enjoys the protection of an FBI security detail — prompting concerns that the arrangement may delay law enforcement from responding to other incidents, two people with direct knowledge tell MS NOW. www.ms.now/news/kash-pa...

Agents on a detail with the country singer would presumably be unable to respond or delayed in responding to other incidents, according to sources.

Trump’s made the United States of America a cowardly laughingstock on the world stage, for enemies and allies alike.

After 9/11, after Khashoggi, any GOP MOC, any media conglomerate, not speaking up in protest over this atrocity, should never be able to live it down.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

one thing i think is true is that republicans assumed that democrats would not respond in kind and that the forceful pushback spooked them (a lesson to learn here, perhaps)
Trump's corrupt scheme to rig 2026 is suddenly falling apart:

*Court strikes down Texas GOP gerrymander
*Indiana GOP lacks votes to redraw map
*Big Dem win in Virginia could give Ds more seats

On the pod, DLCC head Heather Williams is informative on what's next:

President Zelenskyy came to the White House, looking for help from his longstanding ally.

He was ambushed, humiliated and berated for not being grateful enough.

Prince Bone Saw bin 9/11 came to the White House, for the first time since he ordered the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

He was revered.

I agree. If the recent past has taught us anything, it's that progress is NOT inevitable. Obviously, we need to keep the faith, but platitudes are pointless. Say what you mean and mean what you say—my two cents.
Curmudgeonly compaint to ignore: Even as I recognize its necessity, I don't like "we're going to win" rhetoric. I think it implies "norms" can be restored, that there'll come a day when this is "over"--vs. a long struggle in which there're victories but no final victory, because this isn't a movie.

It's his way of showing that the entire WH press corps is his bitch. He can call one of them "piggy" and the others will just ignore it so they can keep their sweet sweet access.

It used to be that if you acted like this, the WHPC would go berserk and the media would shame you. Now it's Tuesday.
I don't know why the "Piggy" thing is bothering me so much. It's one more unforgivable thing in a list of 20,000 unforgivable things, but I've been mad about it for like 12 straight hours.

"People just want to trust and like Republicans," I think, is an inevitable conclusion of the past 25 years.
