EXCLUSIVE: Someone Waived Ghislaine Maxwell's Sex Offender Status to Move Her to a Minimum Security Camp in Texas
According to sources, you can't move someone with a Public Safety Factor (PSF) designation - which Maxwell had - without waiving it. That's what happened here.

As you watch this blabber, remember that Trump's CLAIM to usurp Congress' power is based on emergency--he has claimed a fentanyl emergency (CAN, MEX, CHI) and a deficit emergency. Neither applies to Brazil, Trump has not claimed an "OMG my friend Bolsonaro emergency."
Holy shit -- Kevin Hassett completely bombs on ABC when pressed by Jon Karl to explain how Trump can possibly justify 50% tariffs on Brazil even though the country has a trade *deficit* with the US

Reporter: "Several families we have heard from...say that those [flood] alerts didn't go out in time, and they also say that people could have been saved. What do you say to those families?"

Trump: "Only a very evil person would ask a question like that."

Only an evil person would answer that way.

Palantir is based in Denver. I’ve seen a protest outside their offices in Tabor Center. I’m surprised there aren’t more.
my soul left my body watching the fox news feed glitching out as the tanks roll past the president’s observation stand and the announcer’s voice echoes across the mostly empty streets, “special thanks to our sponsor, palantir”

In the Trump Administration’s view, the only good court is a compliant court. “That is not the way the Constitution works,” Ruth Marcus writes.
The Astonishing Threat to Suspend Habeas Corpus
The Trump Administration is stepping up its war on the rule of law. Is this bluster aimed at intimidating judges, or the start of something worse?

Skynet just bought $50 million in Trump crypto.
This is insane. Republicans have inserted language into the budget reconciliation bill that would ban states from regulating AI in any capacity for 10 years.

Cancer drug Revlimid is one of the bestselling pharmaceutical products of all time, with total sales of over $100 billion.

It’s also extraordinarily expensive, costing nearly $1,000 for each pill, even though that pill costs just 25 cents to make.

The Price of Remission
When I was diagnosed with cancer, I set out to understand why a single pill of Revlimid cost the same as a new iPhone. I’ve covered high drug prices as a reporter for years. What I discovered shocked…

This is authoritarianism
Escalate and intimidate. That is exactly the playbook.

And it concerns me greatly: You know the Stephen Miller types in this administration are just itching for violence - searching, longing for something they can use as pretext for a drastic escalation so they can finally ditch all restraint.
Having now watched the footage and interview two of the members who were there, the amount of armed, masked federal agents surrounding three members of Congress and a mayor outside the ICE facility was totally unnecessary; the only possible reason for it was intentional escalation and intimidation.

All this.
If a single person commits welfare fraud, Republicans think the program needs to be gutted. They'd rather have 100 people starve than have one fraudster get benefits.

If it means 100 people won't starve, Democrats will still feed a fraudster. This is the difference between the two parties.
