The internet was never a perfect place, but at least a lot of these media companies gave a darn about kids and gave them safe, fun spaces to be fully entertained online.

Apothecary Diaries is worth your time even if you have never watched anime before. The characters are layered and well-thought out, the intrigue is palpable and the combination of plants and medicine as vital parts to the plot are captivating.

i don't mean to come off as rude but we cannot sustain ourselves on outrage and anger forever. i think it's even more important now to post about other things too. even if it gets less engagement. you never know who will find it cool and interesting.
It’s a real mindfuck when most ppl wanna post about their latest failures/successes, or weird shit they saw in the wild or cool stuff they made…but the country is a cesspool so cool/weird shit seems trite.

I’m still excited that I got a good look at a Cedar Waxwing last night! It was in one of the first bird books I read, but I’ve never actually seen one. Big thanks to the park staff that pointed my camera barrel in the right direction. 🪶

The spring/summer bright yellow feathers of the goldfinch are here. Such a difference from their winter brown feathers. The black cap is still a bit patchy, but it will get there. 🪶
