Interesting piece but the central idea has some flaws. Every project is *not* considered by committee. Most are not. Every application is considered by an officer and this would continue even under a zoning system. There can't be a waving through when there is S106 and other matters to consider.

the biggest thing keeping Twitter alive in the face of all the toxicity was the concentration of creators and journalists - it remained a culture hub that had no real competitor
