I'm sad to share that the trans vet that took her life outside the VA last week was apparently Elisa Rae Shupe.

She's someone many of us know - she was responsible for the mass email leak that let us know how the ADF, Heritage, etc planned to enact trans eradication we see today.

What Trump has done for US farmers so far:
-frozen their foreign aid program (and left their food to rot)
-encouraged EU to ban their products
-frozen legally-owed reimbursements for their energy efficiency upgrades etc.
-threatened to deport half their workforce

A message from a federal worker in Veterans Affairs:

Who’s gonna take care of the hundreds of thousands of veterans if the administration is successful in its reduction in force?
For those of you playing at home - the people who provide care for you or your Veteran family members are federal employees. Every day for the past few weeks we've been told we're "unproductive," "lazy," "overpaid," "having two jobs," "playing tennis or golf during work hours," and a myriad of other things. One of the people recently confirmed into his position said he wants all of us to experience "trauma" to the point that we don't want to go to work. The people that may be providing you or a loved one care are being told this on a daily basis but we put a smile on our face and do our job. Despite being in fear pretty much every day that someone who has never been in a role where he serves others will decide that our position is "inefficient" and would be best if the entire VA was privatized. Know this when you're reading these "Executive Orders." We're good people, and we give a shit about the work we do. An atmosphere of fear will drive good people away and the quality of care available will decrease. If you care, call your congressmen and women. Make it known that this isn't ok. For more information - the number that they've floated is they want to reduce the federal workforce by 75%. 1.5 million federal employees is what they want to cut. 450,000 are estimated to be Veterans if 30% if the percentage of those cut mirrors the percentage of those who are currently employed. If the percentage breakdown of where federal employees are employed is mirrored in this "reduction in force" would have the VA (again the people who take care of you and your loved ones) lose 300,000 employees of the 420,000 people currently employed. Now these are all estimates obviously. Do you think any medical system could run if it's workforce was cut by 75%? Do you think care would suffer? What about your local Social Security office? What about the people who process your Medicaid/ Medicare payments? What about the FBI? Do you think someone who has no idea how our government works or how anything to do with our government works should get to make these decisions? If you don't. Call your congressmen and women. Tell them to do something.
