if someone quotes Leviticus saying gay people should be stoned to death, and calls that "God's perfect law," it's accurate to say they called for gay people to be stoned to death. Likewise, it's inaccurate to say they never called for it. bc I can parse language and understand how humans communicate

Gotta be honest I'm far less concerned with Tyler Robinson than I am with the overall aftermath exploding from the right wing regarding Kirk's death. The calls for continuing his legacy, revenge on the evil and violent liberal left. It's pretty damn ugly.

Desantis has aggressively moved forward with legislation forcing cities to erase LGBTQ+ presence in public spaces. His last address regarding the Pulse Nightclub shooting he intentionally left out any mention of the LGTBQ+ and the Latin communities who were the significant victims of the tragedy.

Tucked away in the 'One Big Beautiful Bill' is the requirement that all visitors to the US must pay $250 just to enter the country starting 1 October! For a family of 5 that's $1250! I doubt this will help America's crashing tourism business which is down 10% already since January
