The US military is now advising its soldiers in Germany, who are not receiving their paychecks due to the shutdown, to ask for food from local German food banks. One advantage France has of being one of the few countries in Europe without a US base: you don't have to feed starving US soldiers.

The US government just cut food stamps for 42 million Americans. It is still paying mega-corporations in contracts & subsidies. Workers starve while billionaire welfare queens Musk, Bezos & the Waltons take your money. The government isn't shutdown for the rich: just for the people.

Oh wow, a week after signing Trump's ceasefire which gave Israel all the power and no accountability, Israel has gone back to bombing Gaza. Who could have predicted this aside from everyone who doesn't consume American media?!
