We’re watching a shift where AI simulates the cohesion and reinforcement that used to require an entire online community. A single person can now build a complete parallel reality with nothing more than a prompt window. Which seems bad.

everyone remembers what happened to Isabel Fall.
I think we lost some work because authors were afraid to show their weirdnesses, rough edges, to ask uncomfortable questions.
We can debate all day about who got cancelled and whether or not they deserved it, but one thing I have noticed is that a lot of queer YA written from ~2019-2022 has a kind of sterile after-school-special vibe where you can just tell they sanitized the fuck out of it to appease the Twitter hivemind

Only 18 per cent of Melbourne's tram services are accessible for commuters with mobility restrictions, according to Vic's Auditor-General

The follow-up report found those commuters often have to wait up to half an hour longer for trams with lower floors.

I spent so much time in Marvel’s Deadpool VR having nonstop “Deadpool jokes” pumped directly into my ear that I started to see the very predictable anatomy of a “Deadpool joke.” So here is a cursed review of Marvel’s Deadpool VR. www.polygon.com/marvels-dead...

Scary specialist appointment went great, she was very nice and reckons I'm probably fine, she just wants to rule out and stuff and then just focus on preventative care stuff :)

Now hopefully my anxiety will calm the fuck down.

Despise the way that when the tram lurches, people will grab onto ME to steady themselves instead of the fucking poles that are there explicitly FOR them to grab when the tram lurches.

I am not fucking furniture, stop fucking touching me, stop fucking talking to me, just leave me the fuck alone.

guess who's the berk that went out into mid November Melbourne without checking the weather first and is now cold while waiting for the tram 😩

Show was fucking fantastic. Venue was awesome too and everyone was very wheelchair savvy.

Unfortunately leaving the venue meant having to deal with the Saturday night Fitzroy nightlife crowd until I could get to the tram stop, which is a punishment no one deserves.

Going to see Blusher live tonight. Seems like a good place to process grief, honestly.

I am fucking heartbroken.

I'll miss you Alice. You were so fun and smart and wonderful and talking to you always left me invigorated. We're all gonna have a lot of work to do to care for what you've left for us.

do you understand how embarrassing it is that my uncontested favourite mobile game is the big tiddy gun waifu gacha game. I literally play it for 30-90 minutes every single day and now I have cute graphics to prove it I guess. 😩

Sorry, I know I mostly only post about food these days but that's because it's what I spend the majority of my spoons and time doing. I'm making the best of it though, y'know? Making sure I cook for others at least makes me feel like I'm contributing to the world a bit, even if it's not much rn.
