This piece missed the mark. A political Messiah won’t save America. Americans who voted overwhelmingly for Trump must have the courage to admit they made a mistake, & organize/agitate/vote ,to correct course. Asking the only non-white former president to “do something” is hypocritical & futile.

It really is like watching a broadcast of a storm coming in that will destroy everything and people are just shrugging and saying "we've been through worse" when no, no they haven't.

I recently sued the police & got body cam footage. I was appalled at the level of surveillance it caught of people minding their business and having nothing to do with the police interaction. And then there’s the police drones. We should all be worried.

The irony is things that sought to bring “police accountability” like body cams accelerated us living in a heavily surveilled police state. Cameras are always watching.
