Pro tip: If you are attending a crowded event in winter, wearing a well-fitting mask like an N95 can serve double duty by keeping your face warm and keeping viruses away.

(yes, transmission can still happen outdoors in crowds or with close and sustained contact to someone who is sick).

Elon Musk's accomplishments over the last year include starving thousands of people to death (and laughing about it) and creating Hitler AI that undresses children (and laughing about it). Is it time to do something about billionaires yet?

disappointed to see some people perpetuate the "socialism means u have to be poor" section of the fascist propaganda handbook by sneering at someone for having nice shoes.

Chicago’s Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability is holding a special meeting next Thursday, January 8.

This is in response to a 2000+ signature petition asking CCPSA to hold a public hearing to “understand the extent of CPD's interactions with federal immigration authorities.”

Make masks FIT and FREE! As we experience a record breaking flu surge and the ongoing effects of COVID, now would be a great time to ramp up efforts to make high quality N95 masks free and widely available. Really wish free mask distribution was a regular feature of progressive events for example.

Can’t wait for them to announce based MAGA daycares that allow grown men with film crews to walk in and film children without restriction
CNN: “Surely you don’t think a daycare should be unlocked.”

SHIRLEY: “There should be a reception area.”

CNN: “No, every day care is locked.”

SHIRLEY: “Fair point.” 🤔

He shows up to a day care with masked men and wonders why they don’t let him in.

It has now been confirmed that a deadly #shipwreck off the coast of #Tunisia cost 116 lives on December 19. Only one person survived the event.

Musk and his company built Grok with this capability. It didn't happen accidentally, like a hurricane assembling a Boeing 747 from a garbage dump. Then users uploaded images with prompts for Grok telling it what to do, resulting in the offending images. They won't stop it from doing so again.

Once again, Democrats have given the fascists a precise blueprint for how to abuse the population without getting resistance

Imagine if the US didn't have a 100% tariff on Chinese electric vehicles. That's why you hardly see any of them here. BYD cars are being sold for as low as $20K, while being safer and better than any Tesla. All of this was set up in 2021 to protect Elon Musk's EV monopoly in the US.

How do you campaign on something you failed to do? That anger you want to harness is equally directed at Democrats as Republicans. We all remember you caving to end the shutdown so you could fly home for Thanksgiving. No spines, no brains, no hearts. That's our entire political class.
‘Mighty mad’: Democrats prepare to harness public anger over expired Obamacare subsidies
Efforts to extend them continue, but lawmakers and strategists are already moving to turn the lapsed tax credits into a potent election-year attack on Republicans.

Getting arrested is the end of so many storylines on TV but in reality it’s the beginning of many people’s lives being changed forever, even if they’re never charged but especially if they’re convicted. I so hate seeing people getting arrested but wider society seems to regard it as street theatre.
