Republicans have controlled Congress for 22 of the past 30 years. So, Republicans likely authorized and reauthorized funding for the various jobs and services DOGE claims to be cutting as fraudulent.

I love how @microsoft.com is shoving Copilot down everyone's wallets now. I do not want nor did I ask for Copilot at all. How about you subscribe to your own service and fix the menagerie of bugs in Teams or Outlook? Maybe Copilot can tell you how to make a functional whiteboard in Teams?
