Even (especially ?) without having any information from the inside (such communications are strictly controlled for a publicly traded company) it was incredibly irritating seeing the wild level of speculation and engagement baits in this and how it generated stress for colleagues.
NEW: Ubisoft has not been sold, nor has it collapsed.

The week-long delay in its corporate earnings, the subject of much speculation, was due to--are you sitting down?-- financial reporting technicalities regarding two unspecified partnerships.

Speculation around Ubisoft earnings delay proves unfounded
It was an accounting issue involving new auditors and the reporting of revenue from two unspecified partnerships, the company said.

More personally, Anno is also the launch of our new generation of multiplayer connectivity and session management solutions, and the Anno team were the best partners we could have wished for.
Extremely happy for the Anno team, and big congratulations to Anno's and my own teams !

Anno 117: Pax Romana may not quite be fit for a triumph, but is certainly worthy of a standing ovation.

In 10 years everyone will have forgotten the Onion was once meant to be satire, it will be seen as sacred prophetic texts.
Holy shit, they did it. They wrote the headline.

Evergreen 1993 song:

"But the L.A. story's gone way out of hand
Acts of aggression, they say they're justified
It seems an obsession has started from the inside

[..]

Protecting your freedom now that's just a lie
It's an excuse for power that's more like an alibi"
