Funny how those in right-wing media spun endless conspiracy webs about Biden being “compromised” over Hunter’s business deals, yet Elon Musk — swimming in foreign ties, gov't contracts, and so much more — gets a free pass. Did they all suddenly run out of red string?

The real problem with this shit is that the Democrats in Congress are treating this like an election they need to win* instead of a crisis they need to stop.

*and they aren't doing a good job even at that

Yup. Same thing on the House side. However imperfect congressional Democrats are in opposition, the ones with serious leverage here are any handful of congressional Republicans.
Any four Republican Senators could stop this at any time simply by threatening to block all action (or even caucus with the Democrats) if Trump doesn't make certain concessions.

They won't, but that should be a much bigger story than whether the Democrats are doing everything that *they* can.

I mean, it's too late. They should do this, but the entirety of that network is compromised.

If they have/had admin access to the entire system, there's no telling what's been tampered with.

This system will need to be rebuilt from the ground up. This is billions of dollars in sabotage.
Exclusive: Federal workers have filed an emergency motion requesting a restraining order to disconnect the DOGE server that's being used to conduct Trump's "deferred resignation program." The workers had previously accused DOGE of illegally bypassing a mandated privacy audit.

as someone who has an mba, I think theres a decent case to be made that the type of instructor that AI is best placed to replace is in fact business profs
I’ve now had 3-4 exchanges with business profs who seem baffled that humanities profs are resisting their assertions that AI can teach our courses and AI can replicate our work.

They all seemed quite shocked that “you don’t matter and this machine will replace you” isn’t a winning sales pitch.
