Oh, so let me get this straight: deciding not to buy a car now qualifies as “treason”, but beating cops with flagpoles, smearing shit on the walls of the Capitol, and trying to overthrow an election is just good old-fashioned “peaceful protest”?

Give me a fucking break.

It’s one of the more mystifying things about this.
Is there any theory under which they think this is good business, as opposed to bending the knee to survive? Do they think they will get more Trumpist business, or be the lawyers who use connections with a crooked regime to help clients?

I had assumed they would. But I guess I was wrong. I’ve been wrong about lots of other people in that respect over the past several years, sadly.

There is a reason why businesses in mob-infested cities pay “protection money”: it really is more profitable to pay them than to watch them take your business apart. When a business has given up hope that “the law” will save them, paying is a logical (if corrupt) choice.

Incredibly disappointing to see this.

In one of the latest episodes of “Trump’s Cognitive Decline,” a clearly impaired Donald appears utterly astonished that his 19-year old son can turn on a laptop computer after it’s been turned off.

According to Donald, his son Barron has an "unbelievable aptitude in technology.”
