1/ We got government data showing that the Trump administration knew the majority of Venezuelan men it sent to a prison in El Salvador had no criminal record in the U.S. - and that only a handful had been convicted of violent crimes - before calling them all terrorists and deporting them.

The tariff chaos is of course concerning, but I truly believe the real horrors of this administration are in its immigration policy. I’m begging our leaders to stand up for migrants and legal residents wrongfully sent to El Salvador. If nothing changes, I guarantee US citizens are next.

This should concern us all regardless of our politics. The US government is advocating for kidnapping and shipping US citizens to foreign prisons.

The Trump administration is claiming that a federal judges court order is irrelevant and that the President has no obligation to prove it has followed the law. The administration also claims that even if it did defy a court order it doesn’t matter. Last time I checked we don’t allow kings in the US.
